We spent Easter with Josh's Grandparents and Family. The kids had so much fun dying and then finding the easter egg's. Here Tess is dying the easter eggs and herself!
Grandpa Cripps
We went to visit Great Grandpa Cripps (Great Great Grandpa for the girls) when we were there. He fell a few years ago and is now paralized from the waist down. he is living in an assisted help home an hour away from Josh's Grandparents. We love him and miss him so much. Here are some pictures we took. I get teary eyed jusy looking at them.
Tess had a hard time seeing him in the bed and was shy and sad when we first arrived. By the time we were ready to go she was giving him a hug. The picture above is her hugging him.
Alexa entertained us all during the visit. She loved playing with his hand and there were a few times they were just holding hands. I wish I had taken a picture of them holding hands, close up..would have been such a good picture. Grandpa Cripps was such an inspiration and example to Joshua as he grew up. he has so many memories of them together and really enjoyed the visit. It was so hard to say goodbye and we are allready planning our next visit.
