We decide to get away and go camping on Friday. We arrived at the campsite and had a blast all day long. We went for a hike to the river, a bikeride around the camp site, played t-ball, and fed a chipmunk all the white bread it could eat. Tess had so much fun she asked if we could live there! It was so fun to have Joshua all to ourselves for the whole Friday. The girls woke up early on Saturday to find it was snowing outside!!!!! We were shocked and emmediatley ready to go home, do you blame us? Josh and Tess built a fire to try to warm up but it did not help! We were driving away from the campsite at 10:00 am. Hopefully the next time we go camping it will be a little warmer and we can stay longer. Luckilly we were only an hour away from home.This picture is of Tess by the fire.....it is snowing on her! she is waving her bat at the fire trying to re-dirct the smoke away from her.
This chipmunk took a liking to us and our campsite so we decided to feed it! He kept coming back for more and Tess would get so excited to give him more bread. When he stopped coming we figured he was full, or very possibly, sick. Alexa was sleeping at the time and would have loved to see the little guy. It was probably better she was alseep or she would have scared him away! We saw a lot of dogs and she would get so excited everytime one would walk by.
Here he is eating out of josh's hand! Tess tried this but would get scared when he got too close, he then would get scared and run off.
Alexa loved camping and especially loved Tess' camping chair. She would scream when we took her out of it. I will be shopping for another camping chair before our next outing! Oh, and those pants have seen there last days! I noticed they were too small when she was wearing them at the campsite!! She is now in 12-18 month pants!! Tess was and still is tall so it does not shock us that Alexa is tall as well.
Josh bought Tess and t-ball setup to play while camping. She loved it and got really good by the end of the day. Even though we only camped for a day and a half Tess had such a good time and more memories then you would think she could remember!

Looks like so much fun. Maybe we could meet up someday and go together! (And was Josh on his bluetooth? Brent has one too...)
We need to go camping sometime, that would be fun. The kids would love to have playmates while camping, and the adults would too! Of course, you have to have the bluetooth! He was getting work calls on vacation but at least he was there!
