We spent Memorial Day Weekend at the Oregon coast this year and had a blast!! We went camping with some friends, the Herrmanns, who have four boys. Those of you who know Tess know that she was in heaven with the boys. She didn't stop playng the whole weekend and has all of the scars to show for it! We finally banned flip flops after she did three face plants while running in them. Even when her leg was full of Band Aids she was still having a blast and would not stop running. She rode her bike and is getting so good t it. She was keepng up with the boys fairly good for a 3 year old. She was so proud of all her pink items and kept trying to show the boys all of her pink things. They did not seem as excited as she was! It was noce having the girl with all pink in the group though, I could see her anywhere they went. She sure is a girl at times and a total tom boy at others...we love her!
Alexa was not a fan of the sand and found a boogie board to hop on! I was holding her most of the time! The last day we were there she finally crawled on the sand, she was wearing pants! She also tried to eat the sand and I wish I got a picture of her face! She had so much fun at the campground and two of her pants knees are permanetley black! She was a trooper for the whole camping trip and loved all the attention of the four boys.
Josh and Tess walking on the beach. Soo cute I just had to add this picture!
Tess and Jackson playing on the beach! They were playing together the whole time and got along most of the time. They were both collecting rocks from the beach and fought over one of the rocks! They made up and were friends quickly though! Thank goodness for being so young and being able to forgive so easily!
This was the beach we were camping next to! We had about a three minute walk from our campsite to the beach. It was even better to play on than it looks! I think we might make this a tradition to come here every Memorial Day weekend because it was such a nice campground and beach.
When we were there we went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We went on a Saturday so the cheese was not being made (bummer) but we still had a lot of fun. We did a tour and got some squeeky cheese! We did not get ice cream because we were going to Cannon beach later and planned on getting some there.
