Tess had her first day of Pre School on Wednesday September 5th! She was so excited to go to school and loved every minute of it. When I showed up to pick her up she was sad and tried to tell me it was not time to go home yet! She goes 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. I thought that would be too much with her not going to pre-school last year, but she is so excited to go everyday! The picture above is her next to the school sign. I will have to take pictures of the school and her in her class. There are 12 students and only 5 girls. She is bonding with one little girl and all of the boys. She loves to play basketball and pirates at recess with all the boys. Her first day of recess she did play princess with the girls, but said "they are fussy and get there feelings hurt a lot...it's no fun mom. Miss Laurie (her teacher) makes us apologize and share everything!" I let Tess pick out her clothes for the first week. She loved it and made it known to the whole class what she was wearing for the day. I got a few weird looks when she showed up to school in her dress the second day! For now on I will pick two outfits and let her pick one. She is having so much fun, I am glad I enrolled her this year. When Tess is at pre-school Lexi is experiencing child care for the first time. Lexi goes to childcare with a lady in our ward. I thought she would love to play with the kids and some new toys. The whole first week she has slept 3 hours of the 3 1/2 hours she is there! Maybe she will get over her long naps soon and get to play! I am working in the office with Joshua and learning how to do the payroll. They do prevailing wage jobs, so payroll is complicated with certified payroll reports and taxes. I am getting it and will soon be working from home. I know myself way to well to think I can train and take the job seriously working at home with lexi running around! I am enjoying getting away from the kids for a little while each day and really enjoying speaking with adult's everyday! I do love being home with the girls and could never work full time with them in child care.
I have to apologize for the pictures I am posting. My camera recently broke and instead of replacing it with another nice camera, I decided to get a
cheaper, smaller one. I know, what was I thinking!!! I took these pictures when I was still figuring the camera out. Every time the kids would move, even just a little, the picture would be blurry! I almost returned the camera, and still might, but my friend Mindy helped me figure out the shutter speeds. Thank you Mindy! I now have a camera that does not take blurry pictures, although is still not the sharp pictures I was used to. I am saving up for my really nice camera. Every time I take a picture and am bummed with the outcome, I am saving even harder! Here is a blurry picture of the girls on there first day of school and child care. Lexi was so sick of getting her picture taken, but she kept moving and therefore her pictures were all blurry!

I love it! So fun to see Tess so happy at school. I can't believe how quick your little girls are growing up. Thanks for letting me apart of your lives. It is fun to watch your family grow and to have memories with you.
What's wrong with wearing a dress to preschool? Don't most girls pick dresses? If Jordyn had chosen, it would have been her BYU cheerleading outfit! Good luck with work and everything. Looks like lots of fun out there!
