Growing up too fast!

Alexa Rae is 18 months old

My baby is growing up and has lost all of her "babyness". I now have a toddler! She is no longer sleeping in a crib. She sleeps on the bottom bunk and Tess is on the top. She has now gone to two weeks of nursery at our church and loves it. She does not think twice about going into a room of kids her age to play and have snacks! Her eyes lit up the first time she walked in. She was in heaven. Josh and I were too and now get excited about going to class sans kids!
Lexi found some panties in the 2T clothing bin and had to try them on. She loved wearing them but only if she had clothes on under them. She takes after Josh's fashion sense!!!

Grammy gave her this slide for Christmas and what a hit. Lexi loves the slide and has learned to count to three because of it. We count 1-2-3 every time she slides down it. She has boomed with her speaking and amazes me each day with what she can say. yesterday it was "sit this table" and today "sorry mommy" It is so fun to see her grow and I love being able to understand more of what she is saying to me. Tess is my translator of the Lexi language.



I know she is filthy dirty but I love her face in this picture. You would think she is innocent but actually she is plotting out her next move. She is non stop action and always discovering new things. Although she is a handful she is so much fun to have around.
