BBQ at Nana's Cottage

We were invited over to Nana's cottage for a BBQ that Aunt Marilyn helped to put on. It was so much fun. We got to meet family we have never met before and catch up with those we have not seen in a while. I have so many memories from the cottage and it was so Nice to be back and make new memories with Josh and the girls.
The kids (notice that includes Josh!) had some fun cooling down with some water. They played, and bathed in the water. This was the 2nd day we were there and the temperature was above 100 degrees. I will admit I was a little jealous of them and there method of cooling down!

Grandpa with Alexa and Eliza. This hammock is my favorite part about Nana's cottage. I used to play, read and lounge on the hammock every chance I got!

Aunt Elaine was so thoughtful and bought all the younger girls a birthday cake since they are all summer birthday's. You can not see in my horrible picture of the cake, but it says happy birthday and names each of the girls on the cake! Everyone at the party sang happy birthday and the girls all loved it! Aunt Marilyn got the girls a birthday present each as well! What an awesome family we have. They sure made the girls feel very special.

Lexi enjoying the BBQ and all the yummy food.
