Tess' bike decided for us that it was time to rid of the training wheels. One of the wheels broke off. We decided to go to a local park with a lot of grass to practice riding without training wheels. Here is Tess getting all her safety gear on.
She is off! You can see in her face how excited she is. She tells everyone she sees(weather she knows them or not) that she can "ride her bike with no wheels".
Pay attention! Luckily the trail was not too busy. She ended up practicing mainly on the trail and not on the grass! She is doing well and I would think she will be riding without help by next week. Hopefully we will have a final video of her riding by herself for you soon.
The push off. She has not fallen...yet! Josh has been really good at teaching her and has not let go of her for too long. She has the personality that if she had a big fall she would want to give up. Do you see Lexi in front of her coaching her to come this way!
Lexi getting in on the bike riding.
A few more pictures of the two of them. Where did time go, I used to love watching Josh play with Tess in his arms! Now we just need to conquer tying her shoes. Any suggestions? She hates the two bunny ears method. She can almost do it but looses the string when putting it through the hole. She loves to learn and I am sure she will get it soon.

Go Tess, Go!!! Good work! She's gonna get really soon. Keep up the good work!
So cool. We can't wait to get there. It is going to be so much fun. I might try and call you today because I have pretty official dates, well as official as they get anyway. Cute that she can ride without wheels. We love you guys. Talk to you soon.
Too cute! It really makes them look old when they take the training wheels off and are on their own! Oh and I love the song playing, one of my favorite lullabies that I used to sing to the kids.
Wow! Tess is so big! Were did the time go. Good job Tess we love you!
What a big girl! She is just growing up so fast.
