GULP!

Life has been pretty crazy around here. I thought I would share with you some of our adventures!

First Joshua was released from his calling in Elders Quorum President!!! We met in the stake president's office about 10 minutes before church started and were shocked when he was released. We were even more shocked when they called him into the 2nd counselor in our wards bishopric!!! Ya, our jaws dropped. I knew this day was coming but not this soon. He just turned 29 and is now a high priests. Life is pretty busy as it is and we were really scared about this new calling. We are told it is easier and less time consuming than Elders Quorum President, so let's hope so!!! Josh sat up on the stand that day and the girls and I sat in the foyer! Lexi did not like that she could not go sit with her papa.
The following weekend we had Josh's Grandpa in town to set apart Josh as a high priest. Josh's father is not a high priest yet. It was fun to see him again and we really appreciate him traveling to see and support us at this time in our lives. Here are a few pictures I took of the Hollinger boys. Are they not so cute?? Can you tell were the balding comes from :)
Our next adventure is the business we are opening up in a few weeks! Joshua and I have invested with some friends and decided to open up an indoor paintball arena! Ya, I am shocked I am going along with this as well. Josh saw the need for the business and thought he could run it...and now we are about to open our doors. We are doing a soft opening right now and plan to open the doors officially in the begining of December. A soft opening means we are inviting people to come play and only charging them for the co2 and the paint balls used. In return we ask that they give any suggestions and have Patience as we train and get the kinks out of our system. So far we are busy and getting good feedback. I am not as scared about the business now that there is money in our till! If any of you or your hubbies are interested and live in the area let us know. Josh also has a website (still in the works) at http://tactical-arena.com/ check us out! Here is the office. It looks official now. Tess and Lexi used to ride there bikes in the warehouse..see the pink helmet? They are bummed it is full of dirt and no longer there play area. I will update pictures of the office soon. it looks so different now. We have paintball guns for rent and for sale and all the equipment needed. Here is the upstairs room. It has a window that you can stand up there and shoot all the players below! I do not think we have that up and running yet. Josh wants to change up the environment often and will throw the upstairs in soon. Here is our party room. We are not going to be doing parties just yet. We want to get the investment money back before we make over the party room. Our insurance will not allow us to let children under the age of 10 shoot the guns, so we are hopefully going to have sling shots as an option soon as well. Here are the guys putting the netting up. It is special netting that will not allow the paint balls to get on the lighting, walls, air conditioning unit ..etc. etc. Here they are bringing in the dirt. We will be able to move the dirt around and add more as needed. This allows us to change the course often. They also built 4 or 5 (I'm not sure) wooden huts or houses. They have doors, rooms, and windows to play in and around. We will also be getting older furniture to place in the houses.

Here are some action shots. You can kinda see the houses. They are having so much fun and so far so good. The pictures are not the greatest action shots, but hey who wants to be in the line of fire. Wish us luck and come play if your are in the area!!!

When you said Josh's grandpa, I thought you were lying. That looked exactly like grandpa Hepworth. Funny.

Also, if Josh can figure out how to keep the greasy feel of used paintballs off the floor and walls, he'll make a fortune. :) That's the only drawback I have with indoor arenas.

Yeah I'm so excited you guys have it up and running! It looks like a lot of work, but Josh's specialty is running a business so I know you guys will do great. Post new pictures as soon as you get them. Wish I was there but I will cheer you on from here!

I had to laugh at Kirk's comment because I thought the same thing about Josh's Grandpa!

Bishopric, huh? That's so crazy! We've dodged that bullet so far (and EQ Pres too!!). And, your business looks like a blast! If we ever dare drive to Washington again, we will definitely stop by on our way! Way to make it happen! I hope it goes very well for you guys!
