Baby #3 waving at big sisters!!!We had an ultra sound today and all is healthy with the baby. In fact they are saying it is a little small, which is good, because I have been told I might have a huge baby, I have a very large uterus!
So the fun part of having an ultra sound is finding out the sex of the baby, right??? We thought it would be so fun to have the girls with us when we found out what the new addition to the family would be. We woke the girls up extra early this morning to get to the appointment at 7am. Call me crazy but it was fun! We go through the ultra sound seeing the hands, feet, heart, and all the goods. All the good that is except the main goods! The baby had its feet crossed and tucked in so close to the bottom that we could not tell the sex of the baby. The baby finally moved its legs to see the umbilical cord right in between the legs! We left the appointment unable to find out the sex of the new baby. It was a very disappointing appointment!! I am no longer emotional but very very bummed. If you leave a comment please make it very positive. For now when asked what we are having we say...an umbilical cord :)

I'm so excited for you! You're having a HEALTHY baby! I always love when they say they are small (you know me, I like them small: <6lbs) It will be fun having it be a surprise!

I'm with Joy ... it's SO good that the baby appears healthy and a little small. And, if you're not into the surprise thing, do you guys have the ultrasound places in the mall???

I do think this baby will have a sense of humor or be very stubborn! The plus side is that the baby seems so easy going...my girls did summer salts during there ultra sounds.
We do not have the ultra sound stores like Utah has in the malls. Portland has a place that does cheaper ultra sounds than my doctor and we will be in town for Valentines Day. Maybe???
What a naughty baby! Be sure he/she gets big spankings! Will you get another ultrasound?
My brother & sister-in-law decided to wait until the baby was born to find out. It drove me crazy!! But, turned out to be so much fun. The doctor made it really exciting. When the head came out, he asked Kevin if he thought it was a boy or girl. He & the doctor both said boy. Then, the doctor said okay mom, you'll be the first to know--watch here. And, he pulled the baby out and flipped him upside down so mom could know first. He ended up peeing everywhere and we couldn't blame him!
And, when you're in town on V-Day...maybe you can stop by and see my new baby boy!! (I'll be induced on the 1st) (Not that I'm expecting a visit...I know how precious your time is...just saying good timing!!)

Silly baby! At least you're at the half way mark now, right? Soon you'll get to meet your darling little one in person!
Well at least it was waving, maybe it's just really shy. At least it is a very healthy and little baby. :o)
