While traveling to California for Disneyland we decided to stop in Santa Monica and hit the pier. The girls had a lot of fun...so much so that Tess used Alexa as a pillow that night! (See the last picture) We were able to spend time shopping, riding rides, eating seafood and making a sand castle.

We are going to Disneyland in January for Austin's 5th birthday. I haven't heard much about this beach. Should we go there? We want to quickly visit a beach before we leave...
This is a fun beach because it has a small fair on the pier and has lots of vendors selling fun things. The hotels were really expensive in the area as well. If you are just looking for a fun beach you might want to look at others in the area. It was super fun to spend the day at the beach and not need to leave though. We got there, did the rides, shopped, ate lunch and played on the beach. I would recommend it with a caution of how expensive it can get.
