Weekend with "the girls"

I have known "the girls" for about 4 years now and we are still just as tight. The picture above was taken in 2004 and we were in dire need of a new picture!!! From left to right there is: Alisha and her daughter Hannah, me, Mindy, and Deb. I love the girl's and always have a blast when I am with them. This past weekend we decided to have a girl's weekend. We normally do girl's night but made it the whole deal by doing the weekend in Portland. There were no kids or husbands allowed! Need I say I had a blast!!!!!!

We started off shopping at the distribution center and church book store. We have to fit them in when we are in Portland because we don't have then in our home town. We then picked up Deb from the airport. That makes our weekend sound so official and planned out! You know this was top priority! She was flying in from a business trip and Mindy, Alisha and I drove in from Bend/Redmond. We then got a bite to eat, checked into our hotel, went for a swim and ventured out in our pj's for the last Harry Potter book! Well, I put my jeans back on! We had so much fun that night eating dibs ice cream and some bottled water the celebrities drink. I can not remember the name of it and needless to say was not that impressed! We had fun and finally crashed early in the morning. The pictures below are of us in our pj's and after a swim, what were we thinking taking a picture!

In the morning we had breakfast at Kripy Kreme, yum! We made it a priority to eat healthy when we were out of town! I love that we all put the hats on for a picture. I guess when you are on "girls weekend" you are allowed to act goofy! Right? After breakfast we went shopping!!! I am shocked we have no pictures of this. I think we were all too busy to think about a picture. We went to Nordstrom Rack (like Ross with all Nordstrom items!!!) Nordstrom for the huge anniversary sale, and the outlet mall. We had lunch at the cheesecake factory, so good I almost wish I had not eatin lunch and just had the cheesecake. Shockingly I did not gain any weight this weekend although my wallet shrunk!! I spent so much money on me, it felt great!! Thanks girls for the great time!!
