This last week we had some very warm weather and were invited over to a friends house for a pool party/play date. It was 95 degrees this day and was perfect for swimming. The girls had a blast while I sat in the shade and watched them, so I guess we all had a blast! Our first time in swimsuits and sunblock for the year! I am also proud to announce, no sunburns :)

Tess' school does so many fun things I feel like I can not keep up with all of the fun. They had a silly hat day and this is what Tess looked liked that day. She had no silly hat's so we decorated a hat the night before. She was so proud of the hat. Tomorrow is her last day of school and we are all bummed. I am very glad we decided to go back to them next year. She will be in a class of 15 vs. 30+ if she were in public school! It was a no brainier to keep her at Soneshine.

Wow! I did not think it got that hot where you live! Crazy! But it looks like you made the best of it! So is the school where Tess goes to a Charter School or a private school? It looks like she has a lot of fun there!
I think Tess' school would fall in the Charter School category. The school is a Christian school that the Christian Schools of America help fund. I would not say it is a private school because I only pay $150.00 a month to have her enrolled. They have A Beka books and have Bible time each day. I don't mind because they are not teaching anything against our faith, right now. The school goes up to 3rd grade.
What a cute has, Oh I mean silly hat! School sure sounds fun! I can't believe more people don't choose to go that route. I can't believe it is already that hot, I am not looking forward to that!
