Tess is now a kindergartner! She was so excited for the first day of school and picked out her outfit by herself. She kept telling me she was old now and could pick out her clothes without my help. I usually tell her I have to approve of her outfit. She would hardly hold still for pictures she was so excited. What a cute kindergartner!
So, I felt like the worst mom in the world On Sept. 2. We went to bed and had her clothes laid out for her first day of school...the excitement was high that night and I added to it. After the kids were in bed I checked our phone messages and received a message from Tess' teacher letting me know that the first day of school was not tomorrow (Tuesday) but Wednesday morning. I was in panic mode and so sad for Tess. Her teacher agreed to meet Tess and a few other kids in the classroom on Tuesday. It was like an open house, since we were in Canada for the actual one. Her teacher is Miss Aundrea and is so nice. Tess did good with a half hour for her first day of school. I was prepared to bring her for ice cream at 10 am because I thought it would be an awful day for her! No nead for Ice cream, she was happy all day. She was even more excited for her "first real day of school" as she says.
Here is Tess on the 1st day of school! She was soooo excited :)

Lexi thought she was going to school as well. She posed with Tess and got so upset when she was not in a picture. Normally I have to fight to get a picture with the two of them in it...and that morning I was fighting for a picture of just Tess.

Denise I love all the pictures of your girls. I have not looked at your blog in forever but I LOVE IT.
I love tess she looks so excited!! and lexie looks soo small next to the tess and her backpack.
It's so hard to be sad when they're so excited! It's still so hard to send them off. The pictures were really cute, love the back shot. And your trip to Canada looks like it was fun.
I can't believe how old Tess is getting. I can remember the day you went into labor with her and now she is a big Kindergartener. Crazy! I am so glad we are friends and that I get to watch her grow up.
I can't believe Tess is in Kindergarten already! She looks so cute. I only hope Grace will be half as good about going to school when the time comes ... she won't go to Nursery without me!
