Road Trip!! (Canada)

We had Josh's sister, Natasha, in town from Germany and have had a blast with her and her son Chase. They came to visit us and then we took off on a very adventurous road trip...Canada! The most adventurous part of it all was that we did not have our hubbies with us! We wanted to go see Josh's sister LaShauna, her husband Scott and there two boys Moses and Kael. Kael is three months old and I had never seen him. It was worth the 15 hour drive to get there. The picture above is Josh and Chase eating breakfast the day we left for Canada. What a great hubby I have. Chase was having a hard time sitting down to eat with so much going on, that Josh sat on the little table and ate with him! They both love Lucky Charms. So cute!!
We did the ride there and back in two days each and the kids did so well. I would say better than the adults. We were lucky to have Josh's sister Annalysa and his mom "Nana" to join us last minute. Imagine this (I am really bummed I did not take a picture) Two adults in the front and middle of my van and three kids in car seats crammed in the rear of the van! It was tight but we all fit and surprisingly so did our luggage!
Tess and Lexi LOVED playing with Kael. They smothered him with so much attention that I did not like them playing with him. It scared me when Lexi would try to pick him up or give him a hug. He is such a happy baby that the girls now say they want a little brother just like him.

When in Canada we took the kids to the park. I was slacking and forgot to take pictures everywhere we went. The only place I took pictures was at the park. The kids had a blast at the park and played so well together.

Chase and Moses giving each other a hug! I promise I did not tell them to hug!

They got along so well that Chase and Moses joined Tess in a time out!

Lexi enjoyed the multiple types of swings!

Kael, being the good baby he is, slept the whole time.

Nana even got in on the fun of the slide!!

We had such a great trip to Canada. Other than the park we went to a swimming pool, swam in the backyard and of course hit the local mall for a shopping day. The Hollinger girls all went for a girls night, while Scott babysat the kids. We went to dessert where we surprised Natasha with a baby shower, she is having a girl! We then went to the movie "House bunny" afterwards and had a fun and goofy night out. The girls night out was my favorite and the girls say playing with Chase, Moses and Kael in the basement was there favorite part of the trip.

Well, I've been missing you and wondering if you dropped off the face of the earth. I'm glad to hear you were actually in Canada! You are so so brave to go without your husband. Glad you had fun!
