Family Home Evening

For Family Home Evening this week we decorated pumpkins and had a Halloween theme even down to dessert. Last year I ended up gutting and carving all of the pumpkins by myself. This year I decided to get stickers to make faces on our pumpkins. It was such a huge hit I might do this again next year! The kids loved it and it was neither dangerous nor messy! I got the foam stickers at Oriental Trading, in case anyone is interested. Take a look at our pumpkin creations!! Lexi's is the one with just the mouth. She put the whole face on her pumpkin. Each character of the traditional pumpkin face is on a different side of the pumpkin, so I could not get a good picture of hers.

I decorated my Pumpkin as Frankenstein and Tess' is a clown pumpkin.

Josh made a Bat/Vampire I am not sure what it is exactly! We all had fun decorating our pumpkins! I love how Josh and I got into decorating them as much as the kids!!

Tess made 4 different faces on her pumpkin. The first one was this kitty cat!

Lexi had fun putting stickers on her pumpkin. She is saying "cheese" in the picture below! She used to have a pony tail in!!! I can finally get her hair in a tiny little pony tail and she pulls it out! She sports this lovely Mohawk quite often!!

How cute! What a good idea. I'm going to have to spread it around a bit. Fun, safe, clean!

You creative girl you. I'm so copying you next year. Jordyn finger painted and I was lame. Sigh..
