Girl's Night!!!!!!

We had a girls night on Friday night and got to act like we were in high school again! We should have felt old with all the young kids around us, but we had so much fun and got to have our inner child come out to play. We went to a corn maze as a group and did not get lost! We are too good and always find our way out much faster than we wish. We did this last year as a group and I think we are making it a tradition from now on. It was so fun being goofy and TRYING to scare each other. I think I was the only one who got scared from people jumping out of the corn! I tried to scare a group and ended up tripping on a corn stalk on my way out..so the joke was still on me! I did not get hurt and neither did my camera, so were good!! Maybe next year I will really get the girls back :) The picture above is of the girls and I before we ventured into the maze!

Here is picture of Amanda, me and my corn stalk. I wish I could say it was the one that tripped me and ruined my whole scare tactic..but it's not. It did look just like this one though! It was cold that night and we were all bundled up and cozy. I think it was 40 degrees out and windy.

This is a new trick that we tried. It is fun although I did cut some of the girls faces off. I will have to work on centering and taking about five pictures to pick the best out of five. I love this picture though!! How fun huh?

The theme this year was pirates and of course you have to have a plank! I love that I have an action picture of Mindy jumping the plank. The above picture is of her trying to chicken out...but below you will see that she did jump the plank! I wish I could say I did it....but I did not. I was letting my courage build up (I know I am a wuss) when a large church youth group came charging up to jump the plank. Needless to say I got out of there fast! You would think the fastest way down would be the plank but the group was pushing their way on the plank and I did not want to be rushed!!! Maybe I will force my kids out there so I can jump it and feel more brave than I do now! The maze was also in the form of a pirate ship and they had signs giving us clues of where to go in pirate slang. I wish I had a video clip of some of the girls speaking in their pirate accent...use your imagination.

Alisha and me are trying to look like pirates....did we succeed? We did one of us making our pirate faces but they turned out looking like we were constipated! I am the one with the eye patch and notice I am grabbing Alisha...I like to think I am pushing her away to get all the attention!! I love the face Alisha!! We are the nicest pirates around.

The after picture. You can tell we had fun! I love these girls and our girls nights!!

Love it! I hope that we can find other really fun things to do for Girls Night like the Corn Maze. Thanks for bringing your camera.

I love that you had such a fun girls night out! What a fun group! I'll definitely have to plan one out here...without the kids for a change. Love you so much!

It looks like you had so much fun! We will have to have a girls night out when you come in November (I hear the boys are talking about a boys day out snowboarding so I think it is entirely right that we do this). I'll start looking around for some ideas.

And I added a picture.
